The sharp “cut off” characteristics of the beam puts more light on the road and not in the driver’s view. The nature of the generated beam pattern is vastly superior for cornering and bad weather driving than reflector headlamps. Separate dedicated high and low beam fixtures are available as well as Bi-Halogen and Bi-Xenon.
